Why is it that some fellows are never at ease unless they can find someone to bear the blame when a scheme o f their own designing goes sour?

Some men have the faculty of making difficult operations look easy while others like t o make the most ordinary act look like a major achievement?
Be it politics, business, social or be what it may, regardless of the topic under discussion iit  invariably ends up with someone telling his version of an "off-color" story. Why is it?
Why is it that some guys like to shield themselves against any argument that is contrary to their own? Regardless of the  soundness of one's views, these guys take the stand that if they cannot prevail upon the other fellow to see things their 'way it is a waste o f time and effort to continue.
There is something impelling about the contents of certain letters that prompts us to re-read them at every opportunity. Why is it that no matter how many times we go over them, we find something new with every reading?
Why is it that some guys can talk So much and say so little?

Why is it that some guys are overly libera1 when spending the other fellow's money, but miserly when their own dough is involved?
Some people have the dizzy notion that if an item is high priced it must be good value and if the price is low the item must be lousy. Why Is It?
Why is it that some individuals imagine that the world revolves around the axis of their own importance, but when they view their success from a broader perspective, they find that which they thought was a huge accomplishment is but a small, insignificant cog in the big wheel of progress?
Why is it that some guys want to do everything themselves and then wonder why they suffer from jangled nerves and dyspepsia?
